Himanshu's perspective on the world is refreshingly unique, influenced by his extensive experience collaborating with renowned directors like Buddhadeb Dasgupta, Anurag Basu, Amit Sharma, Rohan Sippy, Aditya Basu Bhattacharya, Augustin Crespi and Sanjay Leela Bhansali on movies like Dum Maaro Dum, BMW, Ami Yasin Ar Amar Madhubala, Vincente Ferrer, Sardaar Gabbar Singh and RamLeela. He has won the Best Debut Director Award for his short film Nothing Happened which was screened at major National and International Film Festivals like the 26th Kolkata International Film Festival, 11th South Asian Film Festival of Montreal, 21st Nickel Independent Film Festival, 15th Independent Producers Indie Film Festival & 19th Third Eye Asian film Festival among others.
